I've had this collage for a long while now but it just didn't look right but last night I found this surreal eyeball flower on a magazine cover and it just seemed to fit.

Just thinking of that white hot glare of an African midsummer where you have to squint your eyes to see and everything looks like a mirage in the shimmer.  Waiting desperately for the rains to come.

Aah, that old standby - the paint swatch.  Amazingly, they're still available for free at your local hardware store.  They must think I'm perpetually decorating as I always haunt the paint department. Mind you, considering the cost of paint these days, they're not really free, are they?
