lazulis
Its Spring! The rains have started and the clivias are in glorious bloom. It is now light when I wake up a six o'clock and the birds ! Try sleeping through the early morning arguments of the red billed woodhoepoes and the manic calls of the barbets. Then of course there are the ever present hadedahs - the sound of Africa in my mind and the understated cooing of the doves waiting to be fed. This collage is a reflection of all that.

Eve's dropping
Another of my Mills and Boon cover adaptations. I always feel a bit foolish buying these books in our local charity shops but I think they all know me by now as the weirdo that buys all the "funny" stuff that nobody else seems to want!

wrought iron
I've been following Nico Van Hoorn's blog about a building site Plein 44 Nijmegen, in his home town. This reminded me of him so its in the post on its way to Nijmegen to celebrate the documentation of a fascinating development.

Spring is here (somewhere)
Its the official start of Spring in South Africa but you would guess it with the gale force winds we are experiencing. Oh well, here's a fun collage in anticipation of flowers and sun and plenty of birdsong.
